ABOUT US
RENOME is created from the desperate need to do something about our reckless use of resources, reliance on single use consumable products and the Australian waste crisis.

RENOME (formerly RTRNA) was founded by Laurence Hellmuth in 2018. Laurence was born and raised in Perth, with careers working in the fields of Education, Sustainability and Organisational Change. In mid-2019 Laurence was joined by co-founder, partner and wife Nordine (a kickass organisational dynamo) to make RENOME a truly family business.
Laurence + Nordine lived in Germany for five years and while living there welcomed a child in 2015. With a greater concern for the future well-being of their son, and inspired by Germany's widespread embrace of sharing, reusing and recycling, they were compelled to create RENOME.
From nationwide deposit schemes, car sharing systems, residential compost collection for power generation, cycle networks and effective public transit - why couldn't these ideas work in Australia!
